Grammar Queens!!! Need grammar help!

A block of rooms HAS been reserved

OR

A block of rooms HAVE been reserved

Does the verb need to agree with block or rooms? I think with block but it sounds weird.

HAS is correct. The subject of the sentence is block, and block is singular, so you should use HAS.

(Hope I'm not too late in answering this for ya!)

I agree 100%. The subject of the sentence is 'block', verba grees with subject, HAS.
