Grandma's DJ Choice...
So the other night it was my grandma's birthday and my FH and I were going to a DJ showcase right after dinner. It was at a nice hall and we figured we'd stop by with grandma for about 30 minutes before heading to my parents' house for cake. We figured she might enjoy a drink, the nice atmosphere, and some nice music and also feel involved in our planning process a little more.
Anyway, this DJ was VERY expensive and VERY loud. My grandmother was literally sitting at the table with her hands over her ears when they had only been playing for five minutes! So of course, I wasn't going to let the birthday girl have a bad time so I quickly escorted her out.
On her way out, my grandmother turns to me and says, 'If they're your DJ I'm not coming to your wedding!'
HA!
