Ok, my grandmother needs an aide to be with her at our wedding. Someone to take her to and from the reception and to the bathroom...etc...
My question is, my grandmother will be seated at the first table. Does the aide get a seat at the first table as well? Obviously, I have to pay for a seat for her right? Then we're kicking a family member out so the aide can sit there.
What are your thoughts, have any of you had to go through this before?

That aide should be sitting with your grandma in case of an emergency...It would not be right that you sit the aide someone else. It is unfortunate it has to be like this, but I have dealt with this issue with my grandma...This aide is there to help in every need for your grandma...

My Grandmother needs an aide too. We had to pay for her and she is sitting at the head table. Kind of weird, but my Grandmother needs her and i want my mother to not be worried about Grandma if the lady was not there.

when i was at my cousins wedding - my grandmother -cousin's grandma - had an aide - she sat with her - helped her when she got tired with food and other things and took her home early so no one else had to leave early
The aide is best to sit with your grandma

I guess she should sit with my Grandma I just feel bad taking someone off the first table that's family for the aide. I know it's best that my Grandmother is taken care of. Thanks for your help.
