Re: Grandparent question
I think we may, we each have one grandmother and they are in very good health. FH is very close to his grandmother.

THATS MY PROBLEM!!!
My mom mentioned having my grandmother walk down. She can't walk from her car to the front of a store and she will not make it down the 80 foot aisle. I said the only way was if she is in a wheelchair. My mom said only have her walk half way... i said no to that
I am not even close with her so I really just want to skip it all together. My mom said he will be offended but I don't really care (sorry that sounds harsh but we have never been close, will never be close) I am glad she will be there but doesn't have to 'hold a role' in it either

Re: Grandparent question
We definitely are. And for any grandparents where only one is still living, they will be escorted by a grandchild or son/daughter.

We definitely are walking them down. We'll have aunts/uncles escorting them down the aisle.

Re: Grandparent question
I think only my mom's parents will be in attendance so they will more than likely walk down the aisle first.

Re: Grandparent question
I will have my grandmother on my moms side walk down the aisle. But shes in her 70s and more active than me (she goes dancing more than once a week!!) Plus she´s a totall ham/drama queen. Any excuse for everyone to be looking at her is welcomed by her!! Shes so cute!! As for my paternal grandmother she wont´even be able to come to the wedding.
In your situation - thats tough!! Why don´t they want to have her go down in a wheelchair? I´ve seen pics where it was decorated with flowers or something (fake I assume). Maybe that´s be good for her. Otherwise its really not practical to have her walk down the aisle.
