I went to 5 different florists and they were $500 - $1000 cheaper than the rest ~ they have great customer service and only do 1 or 2 wedding a day tops! They also had GREAT ideas!

I met with both Flower michelle and Flower Barn in seaford. I really liked them both, but Flower Barn beat Flower Michelle's price by $500!!!
That may be great about the price- but it's ALLLLLL about QUALITY for me.
why do you assume flower michelle has better quality than flower barn? because it's more expensive??

Re: GREAT FLORIST FOR CHEAP!! haha
I Had a NIGHTMARE of an experience with flowers by Burton!!!!! HORRIBLE, ugly, eeewwwwww that's all I can say!!! Here are a few examples.....
-brides bouquet should have been all white roses in a clutch, they were so 'unripe' they were almost green and still rose buds, that never opened!
-the center pieces were supposed to be all red roses, over 3 dozen in a nice high set center piece with candles around a spiral stand......it was 2 very empty spaced dozen red roses arranged crookedly in a Christmas tree shape, with candles in some stands and not in others......some of the roses were drooped!!
Need I say more!!!!! STAY AWAY!!! You get what you pay for!!!!
However I do recommend pedestals florist....i Know a million people who have used them, including myself next month!!! I'm going for my centerpiece next week and I will post for you all!

I used Metro Floral in Astoria (you can see pics in my community album) and they did a fabulous job and were very inexpensive.

I'm using Burtons and LOVE LOVE LOVE them so far. They worked with our budget too!
I highly recommend staying away from National Floral -- we had a nightmare of an experience with them (with their billing, contract, AND the way they do business) they'll scam you--stay away.

Laurie from LA Blossom!!! She outdid herself with my wedding flowers and everyone was blown away. Came in cheaper than a lot of florists by $500 (And that was INCLUDING my custom aisle runner).
Highly recommend her and you can see the pics of her work in my review.
