The Mets are selling personalized bricks that will be set in the fanwalk of the new stadium, Citi Field. They're tax deductible because it's also a donation, and not only do you get a brick in the fanwalk, you also get your own replica brick!
I'm getting one for FH and it will be engraved with: 'Lets Go Mets! The Pepper Family [our first names] Est. 7/11/09'

It says it takes 8 weeks for the brick to come... that's a pretty big chunk of time!!! But there's a printable certificate that you could use in the meantime! I'm glad to see someone's FH had a good reaction! I'm so psyched about this!

I pulled out the letter I received with my certificate:
I placed my order on November 23, they sent the certificate out on December 20.
Guess what it says at the bottom of the letter?
'Please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of replica brick(s) after you receive this letter.'
Guess I overlooked that part
But the certificate IS nice...I wrapped it in a big shirtbox so FH really didn't know what it was.
And believe me...my FH doesn't get excited about anything and he really liked it, so your FH will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!!
