Pink And Gold: Pretty Pinups

Invite guests to help themselves to these yummy favors. Cellophane bags printed with the couple's initial and wedding date are filled with delicious goodies including pink-chocolate wafers, pillow mints, strawberry puffs, jelly beans, candy-coated milk-chocolate pieces, and tinted rock candy. The bags are tacked to a board with corsage pins. Pink stickers made using scalloped craft punches seal the packages. Candies from Groovy Candies (search their website, groovycandies.com, by color) and the Sweet Life (sweetlifeny.com).

Save-The-Date Stickers

Guests are sure to remember your wedding day if all they have to do is peel and stick a reminder to their calendars. You can personalize adhesive labels at home. Buy 1-inch round labels from an office-supply store, and follow the manufacturer's instructions to download and customize the template. Print labels with your date using a laser printer. Cut each sheet into rows of labels. Laser print note cards with a message to 'save the date.' Affix a row of labels to each note card with a glue stick.

Save the Date Calendar

These calendars make a more substantial reminder than a simple save-the-date card. Have your stationer print the cards, or do it yourself on your computer.

How-to:
Print out the months leading up to your wedding on colored heavy paper or card stock, and trim all the sheets to form square cards. Circle your wedding date in red pencil. Tape the cards together at the edges using coordinating, flexible tape, and fold the calendar accordion style. Write your names and wedding date on a tag, and punch a hole in the tag; then thread a silk ribbon through the hole, and tie the ribbon around the stack. The cards should be sent six months to one year before your wedding day.
