So as some of you may know - last year was my first year teaching - i was a bit overwhelmed to say the least and our LIS (superintendent) was constantly coming in my room and complaining about everything i did - i would literally come homw crying everyday.
Fast forward 10/17/06 Ok so the LIS and Principal come in my room today - eeekk it always makes me nervous - they check every crack, corner, my lesson, the kids notebooks - EVERYTHING then i see them talking outside for like 10 minutes im thinking im done
teh period ends and the LIS comes back and tells me she wanted to personally tell me how proud of me she was - that my room was perfect and that you could never tell it was only my 2nd year! Im so glad my hard work paid off! Sorry this is a little long but i was so excited i had to share!

Re: Great News!
That is great news!!! I can totally relate to you!! Last year was my first year teaching as well and I felt the EXACT same way - went home every night in tears, my class was AWFUL and the principal kept complaining about EVERYTHING! This year he came in and told me how great of a job I was doing and that it's been a HUGE improvement!! Hang in there!!! They say it gets easier!!
