Great News!

So as some of you may know - last year was my first year teaching - i was a bit overwhelmed to say the least and our LIS (superintendent) was constantly coming in my room and complaining about everything i did - i would literally come homw crying everyday.

Fast forward 10/17/06
Ok so the LIS and Principal come in my room today - eeekk it always makes me nervous - they check every crack, corner, my lesson, the kids notebooks - EVERYTHING then i see them talking outside for like 10 minutes im thinking im done

teh period ends and the LIS comes back and tells me she wanted to personally tell me how proud of me she was - that my room was perfect and that you could never tell it was only my 2nd year!
Im so glad my hard work paid off!

That is so awesome! Must be a great feeling!

I'm a first year elem. ed. music teacher and I'll be observed next week! Eeek! Although I know my primary evaluator is a pussycat. What scares me is the summary at the end of the year when the superintendent comes! EEEK I hope they don't look around all my lesson plans and stuff- SCARY!!!

im being observed this week too! usually the observations arent too bad - i always get myself all worked up about them and then it ends up going smoothly and all that worry for nothing! im sure u will do great - good luck!

Thanks Jenn! Isn't that always the case? I'm not worried about this guy at all- he is too easy. And once I start teaching, the lesson takes over and I always have a good time! I just hope my summary at the end of the year with the big guns goes well! I always think way too far ahead of myself haha!

Congrats!! I can't wait to be in my second year of teaching- I feel clueless sometimes- basically in my organizational skills-- eek! Otherwise, teaching is totally natural to me! I bet you're an old pro by now!
