Great News!!!!!

Great News!!!!!

So FH and I were headed out to the vineyards yesterday when I suggested we go look at puppies. FH said you know you cant do that without wanting one....and our deal was that we were waiting about 2 more months b/c then we would be married and back from our HM. Well, we went, fell in love....and went back this morning to get our new baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is great....I am not sure if I am being biased, but I really think he is showing signs of being so smart!!! He is 3 months old today and his name is Arthur!!! He is....get this....a Pekinhauser...half mini schnauzer (which I had for 14 years) and half pekingese. Let the training begin!!!! I will post pics asap!!!

i will asap...promise...i love them too....he is so funny ....we bought him a small bed and its still too small for him so hes sleeping and rolling off of it and plopping on the floor

Congrats, But what are you going to do with him during the HM? My FBIL use to watch my dog all the time, now he got a puppy and not sure how they will get along. Everyone I know can't take the dog. Kennels are expensive and I don't think my dog can handle it. I love my dog a alot but I don't think I will get another once he is gone. It is so hard to live around it, although he is an amazing dog and very loving. I went away in April and paid to take him with me-75 for him alone! I didn't go to Ct because there were no pet friendly hotels. My dog is old and sick so I think it would be hard for me to start over. Please post pics though, I would love to see him.

the place we got him at gave us 2 weeks free boarding for or HM, but we are lucky enough that we dont need to use it....we have both our sisters who have offered to and actually really want to

You are very lucky to have family support. It makes it so much easier to own a dog. For some unknown reason my mom is so afraid of my dog. I think it is the breed that scares her. He is almost 12 and the bigest scaredy pit, you move a table or the clothing rack and he is gone, but she won't go near him. So obviously she won't take him and now my sister got a new dog, so she can't and FH's family all have dogs and not sure how my guy would get along with them. That is amazing that they offered to take the dog for 2 weeks.

thanks so much!!! we took a bunch of pics on our digital camera and i just need FH to post them for me(i dont know how ) he really is just so incredibly sweet....and he slpet the whole night through in his crate!!!! good boy!!!
