GREAT NEWS ... I am a MOH and ...

so i went today with one of my bridesmaids (best friend and roomate all through college) to check out dresses and to order hers for her wedding (shes getting married in August - im a BM)

First GREAT news - i found THE dress, my bridesmaid dress at Helen's in Commack!!! My sister tried this dress on at lillettes a few months ago and I loved it then, i love it even more now! Its BL 453

after shopping, we went to lunch. we got to chatting. beth's sister will not be able to be in the bridal party (shes having a baby and is due the week BEFORE beth's wedding . Its a blessing of course but at the same time, i think shes sad

Well, she asked me to be her MOH and of COURSE I said yes!!! Now I get to plan a shower and bach'ette party in the midst of 4 others weddings this summer/fall (oh and my own wedding ) Bring on the wedding fun!

that's so great.. i felt the same way when my MOH told me she was engaged.. she asked me to be her maid of honor.. and then i realized by then i'll be her matron of honor cause i'll be a mrs.. woo hoo! But i was sooo excited that now i get to plan all this great stuff for her!!! It's such a great experience to share with a friend!!! Congrats to her and you.. and btw.. LOVE The dress!!!!!!!
