great weekend!
The Poconos was amazing!! We left Thursday early on and we are so lucky because they closed the Interstates we needed at 7, so we would have been screwed!
The roads got bad when we were close and it was a little scary, but we made it. All the couples we were going with made it also on Friday which we were doubting, so it really worked out. We rented a house and it was sooo much fun. Hot tub, darts, pool, home brews, video games = perfection!
Went skiing for the first time and that was SOOO FUN! I go sooo fast, but I have trouble stopping, so I just made myself fall to stop. It was such a rush. Falling was fine, but i had one bad wipeout and hurt my head. We are going to do this every winter. I have to learn to stop. It's really hard. hahah but I did go down the trails, and some of the parts were steep and curvy!
Su cks to be back at work and in reality. Can't wait for June for our annual camping trip with friends.
