Greece!

Any advice on what we must see and do in Greece? We're visiting Mykonos, Rhodes, and Athens! TIA!

Athens: Likavito (this is right opposite of acropolis, you take a tram all the way up and you get to see all of athens- there is a restaurant up there as well its absolutely amazing and breathtaking) , plaka, acropolis (duh! ),monostiraki , if you have time the temple of poseidon (which is a little off athens- about an hour away from athens)

Try going to the ancient times restaurant if you are looking for something different. Its a restaurant where they replicate Ancient Greece (i think ancienttimes.com is their site although I may be wrong) it was great!!!

Are you flying or taking a boat to Mykonos? Last summer our boat got canceled b/c of the waves (its called a meltemi- storm) and we were 'stranded' on santorini another day .. haha.. i'd suggest flying for island hopping.

Rhodes: we went in 2003. These were my favorite spots

The city:
great shopping and cafes

Palia Poli (Old City)
great for sightseeing, shopping and bars

Lindos
great for nightlife. Lots of restaurants, bars, clubs, and the old castle.

Efta Piges (7 springs)
7 natural springs you can walk through. There's also an amazing aqueduct from Roman times you can walk through that leads you to the other side of the mountain (not for the claustrophobic)

We just got back from our honeymoon in Greece and it was absolutely amazing! Did you book your hotels yet? If not, I definitely recommend Rodian Amathus Beach Hotel in Ixia, Rhodes. It was a very nice hotel, was located right across from the beach, and because we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a family suite when we arrived. The suite was 2 levels and had a huge balcony overlooking the water. They also gave us a basket of fruit, bottle of wine, and a bottle of ouzo.

Athens: obviously see the Acropolis. Also, we really enjoyed walking around and eating at the plaka which is right near the acropolis.

Rhodes: definitely explore Rhodes town. It's really beautiful. We didn't have time to go to Lindos, but I heard it's gorgeous there.
