Re: Greek Brides??
All the family in Greece is FItobe's - and if we pay for one we have to pay for all of them - like 20 people!!!!! Since he lives in Jersey and wedding will be in LI they will all need a place to stay the night before and night of wedding because he is so far - and there aint no room in this house for another 20 people! So that's hotel too - and flying from Greece in Sept That's like 20 large just for the plane!!!! Ahhhhh what are we gonna do!

Re: Greek Brides??
We'll see - It's just more stress ugh! I have no idea what to do - I guess I don't have to worry until the earliest Sept since you can't buy more than a year in advance!Lisa - you are having a Sept wedding AND you are paying for relatives? BRAVO! How are you flying them over and did you find a special deal or anything?

Re: Greek Brides??
Hi everyone! Just came across all this while researching for my wedding. I recently got engaged (March 29 2003) and am starting to get things organized. I was wondering if you think having a wedding in Jan is possible time-wise? I havent set anythign yet, but I have a very good idea of what hall/florist/dress/bridesmaid dresses that I want. What do you think?

Re: Greek Brides??
Its possible - a couple of girls have done it in smaller time periods. But no slacking!! Ask around for the vendors and halls - if you can book everything in the next month it's possible !

Re: Greek Brides??
We had family come to our wedding from Greece. We did not pay for their airfare. Some stayed at my parents house (Just one couple but I made sure they did not sleep in my bedroom and all promised to get ready after I did on the day of the wedding. ) Others stayed at my uncle's house. My husband's parents came from Greece but they stayed with his uncle. Our koumbaro bought the favors and we had the koufeta attached to the box. He also bought all the other stuff you need for the service.
