I booked Wild Rose for my video last week. Now I am looking for photographers. I am going to make an appt. w/Verdi. I love their style!!! I am very picky w/photos!!!

Thanks Olgaki and Deby for the info! I am so excited to get started but I have finals all this week

My FH and I are going to make appointments to see halls next week. I hope i can do it! There is so much to get done, but at least my FH is acutally being great and getting the numbers of the places we are interested in. I agree with a comment that someone made earlier...Kentrikon Noufaro has such beautiful lambades and stefana. I was my cousins koumbara and the lambades I bought her had the most beautiful satin roses that the woman made herself. The women there were really nice to work with. Can't wait to go with my koumbaro/a (we havent decided yet ).
With respect to bands...I know a bunch of names were thrown out there....is the stan wiest band that he gets together good for greek? I want my greek music to be awesome...I really dont mind if they dont sing in english...so which greek singing band do you think is best...but not insanely overpriced?

Attic - GOOD LUCK ON FINALS!!! - and bravo to your FH for being a busy bee! The major ones we are all looking out for is Powerstation (Papastefanou) Accoustical Fantasy (Chris Zavola), the Accoustics, and one more I can't think of. Definetley check the board!

Regarding greek bands, there is also Delta Music. I think the guys name is Nick. I went to see them and I thought they were good, but I really really wanted Powerstation so we ended up booking w/Papastefanou. Can't wait!!

Yes I did go to NYU - gonna graduate Tuesday (hopefully passed all my finals this week

Congrats on you graduation! I am sure you passed them all. You must be so thrilled getting out of college! I went to CAS...I know a few people that went to Stern that graduated the same year as me...Eleni Bastas and Katina Mountanos...do you know of them?
I actually met my FH at NYU. He went to Stern but her graduated the year i was a freshman.

Katina the President two years ago? Yeah I knew Katina and Eleni! The fellow Sternie sisters lol THe Greek club there now ROYALLY SMELLS! LONG STORY

Katina was awesome though! I was in the Same grade with John Vassiliou - he was Pres the year after Katina

Where are you girls thinking of going on your honeymoon??? FH and I still can't decide. I hate it when people ask me (after hearing that I am Greek) if I am going to Greece on my honeymoon!!! I have been getting that question a lot lately!!!

We went to Hawaii. It was very nice and we had a wonderful time. Originally, I wanted to go to Italy & Spain but in November it is very cold.

Greece will always be there for us and who wants to see family on your honeymoon.
