I havent even thought about makeup - hmm - i guess bec i still have a little over a year left! I was actually thinking of doing my own makeup bec i dont usually wear much - but i may still go for a trial -

Hi girls! I went for my makeup trial with Jillian from Gorgeous Faces on Tuesday night. I really loved the way it came out. The only thing I am not sure about is the fact that she does not do airbrushing. I had airbrushing for my e-party and I really felt that it made my makeup stay on really well. I went for my trial with Jillian at night, so I really only had the makeup on for about 4 hours. It did still look great 4 hours later, but I am just concerned about it lasting all day. I must say though that I was happy with the makeup and colors she used. I booked her to do my makeup for an e-party I have to go to on Jan. 2nd, so I will decide around that time. I really loved the colors she used and she made my eys really stand out beautifully! So all in all I was extremely happy, but I only have concerns about the airbrushing. However, I have really great skin (no blemishes and I very rarely break out) so I don't really need airbrusing to cover anything up. I am only concerned about making the make up stay on all day. I am also considering having her with me until the beginning of the reception just so she could touch up my makeup during pictures and stuff. Price - wise she is very reasonable too.

ETA: Have any of you used her? What do you think about not using airbrushing?

I dont know anything about airbrushing ...sorry .. .can you post pics though?? We would love to see how gorgeous you look!! I also would like to see how your eye makeup came out -

My eyes are a feature that I love but I dont like how most makeup artists that I have tried do mine - It looks so much better when i do my own eye make-up...

Georgia- I would post pics but I really don't like the way my hair looks in the pics ( I know I'm being vain but my hair looks like &^%*^&).

*LOL* - Angela - i totally know what you mean - i hate how my hair looks more than half the days of the year (because my hair gets very frizzy when it is humid outside - which is so often in NY!)

I will def. takes pics then. Most likely I am going to end up booking her because I really loved the way my makeup came out. I've done some research the past few days and I don't think that not having the airbrushing is a big deal.

Angela: I'm getting the airbrush done, but I really don't think it's a huge deal.The airbrush is only the foundation (not the blush, eye shadow, etc). The only difference I felt is that with airbrush, it doesn't feel like you have foundation on.

Debbie: The invitation place that you went to..Is it located in the woman's home? I'm going to make an appt with her this Saturday. I hope I can go and don't have to work I swear we're getting slammed with a set of papers every freaking day that we have to reply to. I don't even have a chance to breath at work

Marcella, yes, it's at her house. She is a few blocks from the clearview expressway. My brother's wife also ordered my shower invites from her (I havent ordered mine yet cause I dont know whether I need 100 or 125 or maybe even 150 invites - waiting for guest lists from the parents).

That stinks about work!!!! I dont miss those days, though I DO NEED A JOB ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I especially hated the Saturdays at the office!!!!! Just keep reminding yourself: this will be over soon, this will be over soon. For some reason, it seems work tends to be either busy or slow... when it's busy you wanna pull your hair out, and when it's slow, you are bored and wonder if the company has enough work to keep you on board. hopefully, things will slow down a bit at your office
