Re: Greek Brides??
Thanks!I know you would rather be able to deal with a person in NY - but the website where I found mine has some pretty ones - maybe you can get ideas so that you can make them thorugh Gaddis or something like that??
You might have seen these already though - The paper quality is really nice -

Re: Greek Brides??
Greek girls, I have a very strange question but one that has caused me concern the past few weeks. Does your family stand for the 'Pater Imom' prayer at the dinner table? My in-laws never did, and since they were from Greece I figured they knew what they were doing. When we went to my son's new future in-laws they had us all get up at the table before dinner began. When they come to me, will it seem sacreligious for us not to rise? If we DO, the rest of my family will think we're putting on airs, and I don't want bad vibes.Junebride04, I hope you don't mind me jumping in here. Did you check with your church about what ceremony music is permitted? As far as I know, Greek churches don't allow anything besides the organist. I'd love to hear if you know differently.
Everyone, I also wish you KALA XRISTOUYENNA, and a healthy and joyful New Year for you and your families.

Re: Greek Brides??
beautiful invitation....I love it.LI Mom-- My family stands for the prayer but I guess it doesn't matter either way. As long as you are comfortable with it.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
