so i picked out my wedding ring, or so i thought. i haven't bought it yet, which is good because while i LOVE the shape and the way it looks with my e-ring, i'm wanting different stones instead of diamonds. i'd really like peridot, but can't find anything similar anywhere. i was hoping someone here had a suggestion of where to look. i can always go customized, but i figured i'd look around first. thanks in advance!

color is a geat idea..but maybe emeralds cause they are a deeper green...like these???

i do like emeralds, but i like the green of the peridot better (which is strange because my favorite shade is kelly green which i guess is closer to emerald, but anyways...) plus i feel like it goes better with my ring. i photoshopped some pics, and i want it kinda like this:

very unique-- I honestly would bring this picture to a jeweler and have it custom made

Peridot is a beautiful stone, a lighter clearer shade of green than emerald. I have a ring with three large peridots in it.
You most likely will have to have this ring custom made, expecially because you want it to be in a particular shape. My jeweler made my wedding band to fit against my e-ring. We gave him the diamonds to use, some from my mom and some from DH's cousin who recently passed away. Makes it that much more special. We also gave him some old gold jewelry that we did not want anymore and he gave us credit towards the ring. If you would like his info, I can FM it to you.

yeah, i figured i'd have to have it custom made, but i thought i'd look here first. i have a few jewelry designers as friends (one actually made my ering) so i may ask one of them. if that doesn't pan out though, i may want the name of your guy. thanks!
I would get it custom made, but I do think it would be beautiful.....I love sapphires and I wish I would have had a sapphire ring. Do what you want not what people expect. I think the photoshop looks great!
