I feel the same way. I don't think it is rude at all. I planned on greeting as many guests at the cocktail hour as I can. I know it is going to go by so fast and I want to enjoy myself and take it all in.

we planned on making our CH but it didn't happen. we went to each table throughout the night, because i felt it would be rude not to say hello to everyone and before we knew it, the night was over. i definitely didn't get to enjoy it the way i wanted to

We aren't attending our CH, so we'll be greeting at tables during the reception. We are putting a time limit on the tables though
