Greetings from Thailand!!!
Hey ladies!!!!
Oh my god - it is 10:01 pm on Tuesday night here - I have already lost touch of the time and day over in your neck of the woods!!!
The looooooong flight was surreal, but luckily the morning sickness held out until we had to transfer in Hong Kong, and then I lterally ran into the bathroom!!!
Despite the inconvenient 1st trimester stuff - it is wonderful here - we leave Bangkok tomorrow mornng for real 'country' - Bangkok is like NYC in a lot of ways - only cheaper! We had massages yesterday and today for WAY under 20 bucks!!!! We are staying in the Sheraton, but for the next 2 weeks or so we will be in more remote places I thin!
We saw the reclinng Buddha which was as large as a whale!!! We also went to the royal palace which was BREATHTAKING!
Everything is so amazing - so exotc and dfferent - we keep tellng each other - OMG - we are in Thailand!
The only thing is we thought we would be in vegan heaven, and its very tough - I had to snort at a man when I was asking him what the lumps of meat were doing in our vegge soup - he kept saying 'po' and I'm like - 'PORK?' and he says 'po' so fnaly I just snort and he nods his head and smiles - we are like - no... no pork, nothing! Just vegetables and noodles... then he got it....
Maybe we'll have better luck in the country. Its ok because most of it has been coming back up anyway![]()
