GREETINGS. Wheee!
I keep saying wheeee about everything because my last two days have been great.
Got into Michigan...went straight to dress place.
Minimal alterations need to be done cuz my girls have gotten so small.
Got a petticoat which makes my otherwise ultra cute dress ...AMAZINGLY cute and big and fluffy. Yay.
GOT A VEIL. I'm officially out of the birdcage veil club. SORRY GIRLS! It's ... I guess elbow length? Plain tulle. No lace, no beading, no nothing. But looks awesome with the insanity-levels of tulle on my dress LOL.
Then they're going to ship my dress for freeee. (Wheee!)
So now I don't have to worry about taking it back on the airplane with me (Double wheee!)
Other highlights:
- Saw my favorite cousin for the first time in almost 3 years. He moved to Arizona and we always come back into town at different times but are both home for the same long weekend this time. (Whee? WHEE!)
- Have been eating amazing foods not available to me in NY. And NO I do NOT miss cucumbers.
- Got to see my baby brother order a beer legally for the first time. Awww.
- We made half of our centerpieces today.
- Dropped off payment at RH this morning and our room was all decked our for someone else's wedding and it was so pretty. Got all me all excited.
- We have a full house tonight... everyone's in town for my shower tomorrow morning.
- Went to a bonfire last night and saw like 30 people from high school I haven't seen in years.
Oh man. I almost dont want to come back to NY.

Gotta go to bed though. Gotta get up early so my friend can come over and practice making my beehive hair.
