I definitely think I missed something. When did Meredith and Derek fall to sh!t? I didn't even understand why all of a sudden things were done?

All this season things have been a bit strained, then after her mom died and he caught her under the bath tub water like she looked like she was going to commit suicide or something, then when she did actually drown he was worried because he thought she did (and she really did) just sort of give up swimming instead of fighting so then he was telling her she doesn't really let him in and always shuts him out (like when her father slapped her and she wouldn't even talk to him) then now he tells her how he feels and she responds that she needs to help Christina. It's kind of funny considering that when the whole Addison, Derek, Meredith triangle was going on, she did the whole 'pick me, love me' thing and now she has him and she's running away. Considering her relationship with her parents though, it's sort of understandable that she had abandonment/intimacy issues. She's still being a jerk but it's sort of understandable considering her history. I think she needs therapy.

Seriously! And not for nothing, but you would think these people were lawyers, not doctors, with all their preaching and wordiness (I'm a lawyer...I can say that! Back off colleagues!)

Oh, and I think Izzy is a homewrecking slut. I hope they start off next season with Callie kicking her azz right there in the church!
