I'm sure we all have something to complain about...feel free to do it here....I'll start!!
It ticks me off that FH is a major procrastinator....I'm beginning to wonder if he's even bought my X-mas gift yet!!

Re: GRIPE FEST...FEEL FREE TO VENT HERE!!
I am so glad I have nothing to gripe about. Whether or not I get a gift.
I guess we can all look at the bright side instead and say, at least we are in the position to get gifts from others. Have a wonderful holiday all.

FH and I were arguing last night over the Christmas shopping, how much we were spending on people, etc... and he blurted out what he got me for Christmas! Now I have to act surprised
Why do you have to act surprised if he's the one that told you??

I get frustrated that DH spends money without consulting me first. He knows how tight our budget is and how much I sacrifice for the wedding then I come home and there's some new gadget. I want to scream. I look at it and say 'and how did you pay for that?' Out of the line of credit of course.. *sigh*
My god man, STOP SPENDING MONEY!!!! I thought women were the spenders not men.
Tell me about it!!!! Yesterday, FH tells me that he got me a surprise and it was waiting for me at home. I'm thinking, maybe he got me flowers, or brought me home some goodies to increase the size of my ass. I go into the bedroom to take my shoes off, and low and behold, there's this friggen monstrosity in silver on the dresser. Seems he decided that since I refused to get out of bed to shut our ancient TV off the night before (no remote and the cable box is new and we haven't configured it yet), that he would go out and buy a new TV, with a remote. His only saving grace was that he got the floor model which cost him about half what it should have.
Oh yeah, hon...you know me so well. The one thing that always cheers me up is a new piece of digitalia!

My uncle used to date a girl who used to give me gifts that she got for free when she bought makeup. They always said 'not for individual resale.' Talk about cheap!

Re: GRIPE FEST...FEEL FREE TO VENT HERE!!
FH decides that he wants us to make the turkey for xmas dinner bc the last time his mother made it, it was bland and dry. (He called me when I was home in NY for thanksgiving to tell me to bring my mom's turkey for him)
So on Sat, we go to his parents house and he tells his mother that 'we' want to make it this year. I was like don't say 'we', it was your idea. So he tells her that her turkey was dry and then she blames it on his father (knowing good and well that she made it!). When we are leaving she asks if we are bringing anything else, FH says Stephanie can make the cornbread dressing (stuffing). She had the nerve to say, 'That's OK, I'll make it bc the dressing you made last year, wasn't hittin' nothing'.
I was so good and didn't say anything, we got on the elevator and I let it out. FH said he wondered why it took me so long to say something.
What nerve does she have? :mad She acts like she is the greatest cook. Hasn't she noticed that NO ONE ever takes her leftovers? And how fast people reach for the salt/pepper and hot sauce?
But we are gonna show her how you make a turkey on xmas. Already called my mom so she can tell me what she does.
Sorry so long:

I send my FH a pic and link to the 2 bracelets I wanted from Macy's. He ordered them online. Yesterday he asked me if I wanted anything else because that's all he has for me (granted this is a light year because of the wedding) but he waits until then. Turns out I went to Fashion Bug last night and found a sweater and turtle neck I liked. I'm going to start charging a shoppers fee for everything I buy for people to give to me. Do you think 20% is too high or should it just be 10%?
