GRIPE FEST...FEEL FREE TO VENT HERE!!

I'm sure we all have something to complain about...feel free to do it here....I'll start!!

It ticks me off that FH is a major procrastinator....I'm beginning to wonder if he's even bought my X-mas gift yet!!

My gripe:

I get mad that my retired mother waited until yesterday to go Christmas shopping. I did half of her shopping and told her to pick up something for my sister.

So yesterday she dragged herself to the store and got my sister two sweaters. Two identical black turtleneck sweaters!!

You can't even chalk it up to 'It's the thought that counts' there is no thought to that I told her to change it.

OMG, I have the same problem - FH went out and bought everyone's gift already, inclusing people he works with.
As late as Sunday night, he's like 'I have no idea what to get you' - well gee, thanks for putting so much thought into this! It's only 3 days before Christmas.
So frustrating!!!!

I'm annoyed that there is a six and a half inch pile of work to do on my desk when all i really want to do is cruise LIW 's site!

My FI is so spoiled sometimes! together we have 25 people to buy for....he bought for 4 of those I did the rest and he was complaining about the amount of shopping he had to do!!!

Sometimes (and I told him this last night) he totally under-appreciates what I do for him!

I have to give DH a list or he has no clue either. It's frustrating because I expect him to know what to get me but in all honesty, I usually don't like those gifts at all. How terrible is that?? So I am better off making the list.

AWWWW G.......I'm sure whatever it is, it WILL be good...doesn't matter when he bought it, as long as it's a good gift from the heart

funny you should write that...because around the holidays my mom and i always practice being totally surprised and appreciative when i open my gift from FH.

I am pissed that DH can go to the store and buy me gifts, but that is it. I had to buy his Secret Santa gift, becasue I couldn't wait to go out on Tuesday to go get one. I wanted to go last inght to get a couple a gift, that we are both friends with, but he wanted to watch the Ranger game. UUGGGHHH!!!!

I get frustrated that DH spends money without consulting me first. He knows how tight our budget is and how much I sacrifice for the wedding then I come home and there's some new gadget. I want to scream. I look at it and say 'and how did you pay for that?' Out of the line of credit of course.. *sigh*

My god man, STOP SPENDING MONEY!!!!
I thought women were the spenders not men.

fh actually has a surprise personalized gift for me.....

but i can gripe that it it takes him forever to do christmas wrapping with me(even though we both love to)...
and he doesnt have the patience to christmas shop with me, he wanted to stop after one store, one gift!

Ditto! FH gets an allowance every week...which is way more than I give myself...but every week he manages to spend all of it...and on nothing! Then...when it's time to buy me something for my birthday (12/28) he will charge it...and I pay the bill, so I guess I will be buying myself something this year!

FH and I were arguing last night over the Christmas shopping, how much we were spending on people, etc... and he blurted out what he got me for Christmas! Now I have to act surprised
