Groom Gift: Need Help PLEASE!!!

Okay,

So my gift for FH fell through. I'm so upset about it I can cry. I don't want to post what I was going to get him in case he come on here, but I really thought about the gift and I went ahead and paid for it. To make a long story short, I think the person never shipped it. I waited for a month for it and I finally decided to file a claim. So now I have no gift and it's three weeks before the wedding. FH said don't worry about it, but I feel as if I have to do something.

I would love to do something personal, but I not sure about the time since I leave to go back to NY in 2 weeks.

Does anyone have any ideas? I know this is horrible, but I really can't think of anything. My budget is $1100 and under. Please help me!!!

Hmmn, tickets ( I would do a sports game) are a good idea. But it's really hard now with his work schedule.

I'm thinking about nice cufflinks and some earrings (yes, FH wears earrings)

OK I saw this on another post, but I would include a cologne for the day of your wedding.. something you both like that he hasn't worn in a while. Another bride posted this, that she wore this perfume and now anytime she puts it on it reminds her of her wedding day.. You can do that, with maybe the earrings. Go for it!!

if FH and I decide to do the gift thing, I will be buying him a laptop. he's always wanted one.

ETA: if it were up to me to decide, I would have gotten him a Tag Heuer
