My FH and I are not sure what kind of tux he wants to wear and what kind his GM's should wear. We both think he should stand out from the GM's. I want the groomsmen to match the BM's, they are wearing wine colored dresses. Any suggestions? Please post pictures if you have them.

my fh is wearing an ivory vest and tie, my dress is ivory. shirt witll be diamond white and jacket and pants are black. gm's wearing gray vest and tie rb's in ivory dads in black

I would like my FH to wear platinum, and the GM to wear metallic burgundy to match my girls' wine colored dresses. I don't have pics because we haven't been married yet! And we haven't gone for the tuxes yet, but that's what we're thinking... and by we I mean me.

The best thing you can do is visit a tux shop and have FH try on lots of different looks. You'll know which one is right when you see it on him.
We were originally planning on traditional tuxes with bow ties and cummerbunds with the GM in burgundy to match BMs. After trying on a bunch FH is now wearing something he never thought he would even try on.

My girls are in red dresses and instead of trying to make the tux vests match - we're going to make them compliment one another by going with platinum or silver vests with a black tux.

We also want the Groom to stand out from the Groomsmen. Here is what we did.
Everyone is wearing black tuxedos. The GMs will have red vests and ties to match the BMs. The Groom will have an ivory vest and tie to match my dress.
The dads will have black vests and ties.
In addition all the men will wear an invory rose boutinier (the BM's bouquets will be ivory colored roses), but the Groom will have a red rose boutinier to match my red bouquet.
