Groom in White Blazer or Black Blazer?

Ok.....so just curious on your thoughts on what grooms should wear.

All white suits are super outdated....however we are considering the idea of black pants with a white jacket and vest and tie.

We do want him to stand out from the groomsmen. How do you think this will look?

So two options are white jacket and white vest, etc,....OR Black jacket with white vest and tie.

What did your grooms wear? Or what will they be wearing?

This is the style jacket we are going with.

FH is doing a black jacket. His friend did a white jacket for his wedding and while it looked nice, there were make up stains all over it from everyone hugging him.

I agree with the makeup on the jacket problem - I've seen it too many times with the 'dress white' uniforms in our friends weddings.

Go black - it won't look dirty halfway throught the hugs and kisses - and don't forget your makeup rubbing off on it during photo shoots!

I was going to say the white jacket but after reading this I would go with he black lol

I didn't even thing of makeup! Besides FH spills everything on him one way or another. Going with black.

Yea a great point!!! I never even thought about the makeup issue, or it getting dirty. So I think we will have to go back, and try it on with the black. For some reason I don't remember him trying it on, or if he did, dont remember what it looks like. lol
