Groom needs help!!!!

My groom needs to get a new birth certificate ASAP!!! We are getting married this February and in order to apply for our lisense he needs a new one. How do we go about getting him one? Thanks!

He has to contact the Town Clerk's Office (or City Clerk's Office) in the Town or City he was born in. They can then give him the instructions on how to get it.

He needs to go down to the Office of Vital Records.. He should bring as much i.d. as possible because if he doesn't have the one thing they are looking for, they will send him home (I'm not sure what he will need exactly but check out the link below)

we didn't need our birth certificates - i posted the other day about getting our license - we went to town of hempstead..i will find the link and bump it for you - they only took two picture ids from us - if he has a college or alumni id, or a work id and his license, you should be fine (at least where we went!) - the other option you might use if its easier, of applicable is his baptism record, which his church (again, if applicable!) would have!

Why does he need his birth certificate? We didn't bring ours.

My FH needed a birth certificate to get a driver's license. You can fill out an application online at Vital Statistics....and then they have rush delivery. He got his in about a week. Cost about $50. FM me if you need any details.

You just need your drivers license... If you know what town he was born in, you can just go to their town hall.. That will be quickest... We went to Port Jeff Town hall (FH was born in St.CharlesHosp.) It was $10... Ask his parents where he was born if he never knew...Good Luck..

OH AND IT HAS TO BE A CERTIFIED COPY... WITH A RAISED SEAL... Or the Marriage license people will turn you away!

We needed original birth certificates for the license as well as to travel. I had to get a new original of mine. I contacted the town hall & it cost $15 and they mailed it to me. I was born in the same town that I currently live in. took a week to get.
