Groom's gift question...

my FH does not wear a watch and does not want one for a wedding gift.. so that eliminates the most popular gift to give..

he is a huuuuge mets fan and his favorite met of all time is edgardo alfonzo.. so i was thinking of getting him an autographed baseball as a gift.. I want to personalize it somehow -- make it special as a wedding gift.. ( apart from getting him to sign the ball with 'congrats erika and chris xoxo edgardo) -- although i really wish i could do that lol

any ideas??

no.. i think it's all built already.. if i knew we were going to be getting married last year i would have definitely gotten one of those!! lol

Shawn is a HUGE mets fan...I just bought him his gift...I bought him cuff links made out of the seats from shea stadium....he is going to FREAK when he gets them!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fiance isnt a cuff link person either, but I figured this is something that he will keep for a long time (as a memento of the stadium/our wedding day...and if he ever needs cuff links he will have them!!)

I will send you the website I found it on...there are also lots of coupon codes to use when you buy it...I used a good one and saved some money...

You can get a signed ball and one of those cases to put the ball in and get it personalized. Maybe a small plaque that can be attached to it with your names and wedding date. I dont know where you can do that though maybe at a trophy store or a printer. i will do a search and ask around and see what I can find for you.

I was just reading on one of the other boards and some of the girls have taking Boudior pics and are going to give the album to their FH's as a wedding present....what guy wouldn't like that?? I was just checking out some photog's websites that do these and it actually seems like an awesome idea!

i was thinking something like that.. but i'm thinking of putting what i want to say on the bottom of the holder. so that its out of sight and most people wouldn't know it's there..
