Groom side at the shower

I was just thnking about this but when I send out invites to the groom side that the mom wanted to invite how do they know who I am marrying..How do they know me..I am not talking about aunts and cousins but like friends or ppl like that...No where on the invte does it saying anything about his side

I'm sure if they're close enough with your FH, they would at least know your name

I was nervous about the same thing too but my invites have the grooms name on them so everyone will know who it's for.

I put FH's name on the inserts for our registry. I figured that would cover it.

Ditto.....both our names are on the registry cards....but i've seen other invites where there was a little rhyme that says/......

Lets shower Stefanie with hugs and kisses before she becomes Frank's Mrs.!

For my sister's shower we put her name and under it we put 'future bride of (groom's full name)'. We actually got a lot of compliments on that from his side of the family.

I have heard of putting FH's name on invite like:

Jennifer

Fiance of Jack

or something like that ...

Yea now that I read that I remebered ... we did this for my SIL...my mom threw her shower and she put my brothers name on it
