Is anyone doing a groom's cake or have pics? I'm at a loss for ideas on what to do & need some inspiration

I asked my FH if he wanted a grooms cake and he was like what is a grooms cake, He will just stick with the main wedding cake

Does he like football, you can have a football cake, baseball cake, he fav sport, his fav tv show, his fav cartoon or comic book character etc

I plan on doing a groom's cake for the RD. Since FH loves poker, I am working with the baker to make a poker-themed cake.

He's a big yankee fan, played ball in college. Also LOVES golf & poker, & he's PAPD. Not sure which one to do!!!
Anyone doing grooms cake, are you having it at the RD or reception? I'm having wedding cake & full vienese hour, i think it might be too much but FH wants it at the wedding. Any opinions?

I plan on having one at the RD as a surprise to FH..I am thinking about a Mr. Met cake...other brides have done something similar...just do a search- that is how I got my idea.

I did a cake for the RD, it was of the race car that DH gets off of in the FD racing.....(it was a surprise for my DH)
I am going to have a grooms cake at the rehersal for FH... I am going to Adrianne's in Sayville and I will be having a porsche made it his favorite color's that he wants his next porsche to be...
