Re: grooms cake?
alot of ppl do it at the rehearsal. I personally want it at the wedding to be part of our decor and show his side and personality at the wedding. Either way is fine

Re: grooms cake?
We're doing it at the rehersal. I think that it will allow more focus and attention to be on FH then he'd get at the wedding. This way i can say something nice and bring everyones attention to him...

Our RD restaurant didn't care or charge us extra if we brought in our own dessert- so I saw this as the perfect opportunity

if i do one, it'll be at the RD the night before so we can knock $4 off the menu price, not get dessert and just serve the cake

Re: grooms cake?
I think i'm going to make a cake for fh and bring it to the rehearsal dinner. Its going to be a casual BBQ at my parents house the day before the wedding. I was going to get a palm tree mold and make a chocolate cake. FH loves palm trees...and chocolate! It's either that or nothing, cuz we can't afford a professional one!

Re: grooms cake?
I am planning on surprising him with one at the RD. I would do it at the reception hall except I have to order it through them and it is going a lot more money that way so RD it is!
