I am thinking about having one, either doing it at the rehearsal dinner if we have one or a second cake at the reception.

FH and I both play World of Warcraft, if I can find someone to make replicas of our two main characters, i would do a grooms cake at the hall to surprise him

I like the idea...but I agree with you. I don't even think FH knows what a grooms cake is!!

I will be having a Yankee one at the reception. FH will love it and it is basically just to use the wedding cake topper I don't want to use on my wedding cake. (It is Yankee themed)

I am having a grooms cake. I am gonna have it at the reception. I am having it based on his second true love! His Job and Love for flying. Since he is a pilot I am have a replica of the plane he flies for work and have it decorated with Mets and Notre Dam logos and stuff......I am prob. getting it from Dortoni's in levittown!

My Groom is diabetic so I'm not sure what to do with this -- But he loves being part of the decision making and I'm so adamant on what I want on our cake -- he's kinda like -- well I want a cake too!!! LOL So I told him about the groom's cake and he seemed psyched -- we might have to keep his meds ready! LOL.

But he doesn't do chocolate --even before the diabetes -- and I'm wondering if there is a 'sugar free' option available. . .

HMMM.

I did see a MEAT CAKE on style -- and I'm not feeling that at all.

he wants a chicken nugget grooms cake

i was gonna do a giant cookie cake and decorate it with logos from his favorite sports teams, but he said that he really doesnt want/see the need for a grooms cake.

Im gonna do a mustang or an xbox he's obsessed with both but i havent decided. And it think i might do it at the weddding so everyone gets to see it

i am not doing a grooms cake! i instead will surprise FH with Cigar Rollers i already booked with them!! he is not a smoker at all but he loves the cigars on special occasions like these!
