For those of you who have a groom's cake, how much did you pay for the cake, and for how many servings? Who should I have design the cake? I'm surprising my fiance with a Breslin Center replica cake since he was in the IZZONE all four years of college and loves MSU basketball :) That's where we met so I thought it would be sweet to surprise him with an amazing groom's cake.

its a cake you get for the groom that replicates their hobbies or job, etc.. usually a surprise Im getting a 69 chevelle grooms cake because fh has on lol and lovesssss it..
It like the crazy cakes from cake boss- i actually want to try and get one from carlos bakery hehe

it's a cake for the groom that's usually a surprise during the reception, or you have it at the rehearsal dinner. it's a cake designed for them since we pretty much design the wedding cake ourselves haha :) i'm going to have someone roll it out after we cut the cake and start the viennese hour as a surprise.. i can't wait to see his reaction! i gotta find a reasonable cake designer first though

I'm getting a replica of FH's MR2 and I am doing Carlo's Bakery! I called already and you have to call within 6 months of the date you need the cake. I was being too proactive

I don't know any of the details yet. You book a consultation and then go in and tell him your ideas, and I guess at that point you find out the $$ etc.

My FMIL said it's supposed to serve all the single women to bring them luck?? She said something about putting pieces under their pillows. Sometimes I think she might be high.
