grooms cake

so i went to FH's favorite bakery today to get a price on a grooms cake that looks like his 82 transam. and i was accpecting to like $300 they gave me an estimated price of $650 so thats not happening. i need to find some place cheaper to make this! Any ideas

the place i went to is charging me 500 for a cake that is just single layer cake for 75 people...shaped as a nypd patch. she said 3d would be more so im guessing your quote is about right...=/

I just added her as a friend so I can ask her how much she would charge. I'm looking for one too! But I definitely can't pay $500! That's insane!

Not sure where you live but try dortoni in levittown. They are my fav bakery. I got a cake from them for my dads 60th. I got a cake to look like a dewars scotch bottle. It was amazing! I have a pic if you wanna see it but I am in my phone now. I told them to make it for 25 people but we had more than half leftover. And I want to say I paid 150 for it.
