Hey ladies! Where can I find a bakery that will make a grooms cake around $275-$300 with delivery? I want the cake to be in the shape of FH's FDNY firetruck. Some places are telling me $600. Oh and FH is picky so it needs to taste good lol. TIA!

Definitely check out Black Forest Bakery. I am getting an Xbox cake for FH from there and they by far gave me the best quote on it (like literally hundreds less than what other places were charging me) and the cake is beyond delicious!

Try dortoni in Levittown, cakes look and taste amazing!! I have gotten specialty cakes from them before and their prices have been decent but I haven't gotten something with as much detail as a fire truck. But it's def worth a shot to get a quote from them.

Sorry I cant be much help but when my dad retired we had the bakery near us make a sheet cake in the shape of his truck (fdny also) it was much cheaper then have the big realalist shaped one. Maybe asking about that option instead will cut the cost?
It wasn't as much of the WOW factor tho, but still cute and tasty

I went to Dortoni and they told me $500 for a 2D cake and $800 for 3D. I wish I could use them because I live three minutes away.

yes Lindenhurst. The decorato, Christina, is very sweet and talented.
A friend of mine started a bakery out of her house. She's AMAZING! FM me for more details. She did a cake for DH's surprise party that people are still talking about.

I got my groom's cake from The Cake Gallery in Bellmore and it was $250 but I have heard their prices have gone up, but it might be worth calling them just to see what they can offer.
