are you doing it at the RD or at the wedding.

also, any recommendations as to where to get it?

Lady J Cakes...shes awesome!! I've been working with her for a week or 2 now, shes extremely responsive via email! Very well priced as well

i didnt do a grooms cake but if I would have done it, I believe at RD is much better. I mean you alreay have a huge cake for the wedding why have another one?

I did mine at the wedding. It was sweet and he loved it. Great surprise.

i have a friend that makes them so she is doing mine but she isnt in business yet, so it's a gift

We are doing one, and I wanted it at the RD- but FH says the wedding cake is for me, and this is HIS cake

I saw this when you posted it awhile ago and totally changed my original plan for a grooms cake to this, I love it!

I am having it as a surprise at the wedding- I'm spending a decent amt of $$ on it so I want EVERYONE to see it. It will be a replica of the Syracuse Basketball court, complete with hoops, basketball and the SU mascot. We have lots of friends from SU coming as well who will want to see it too!!!

I am not actually serving it at the wedding tho- we have enough cake, so we will serve it the next day at the bbq back at my parents. AND use it to celebrate my mom and grandma's birthdays that day (they said they dont find a SU cake luckily haha)
