Groom's Cake

I was thinking of doing a grooms cake for FH. I wanted to do something with superman.

1. Any cool ideas for the cake?
2. Have any of you done or received a quote for a grooms cake? How much was it? What did you get for that price? And which bakery did you get the quote from?

I am using Candi Cakes. She is very reasonable and does great work. I can FM you her info if you would like.

I am using Lady J's cake and doing a Met Cake. A little pricey for Grooms cake. I got a few quotes for $700 until i found Lady J. Much better price. Excited about it but not in the budget....

i found this on pinterest for fh, and love it lol-i wanted to do it for his bday this year but came up with the idea before we bought our house

i would also suggest sweet karma in east meadow-i've used them before and they're wonderful

crashing...sorry but def check out the cake madam. she just did my e party cake (i can send u pics if u want) and it was the hit of the party! ppl are still talking about it!s her work is not only amazing but very tasty too!! not to mention INCREDIBLY inexpensive! shes on fb or if u want i can fm u her #

wow thats crazy expensive!! Check out my eparty cake in my album it lit up and was less than $300!!

Pic is in my Albulm Srry couldn't figure out how to post! It was about $250 including delivery and all the lights. I can fm u her # when I get home if u want ( Srry don't have it oh me now)

Groom's Cake

Lady J is amazing. She has a FB page where you can see all of her cakes and cookies. She made my DH a golf green where the bride is dragging the groom through the sand traps and water holes. On the flag it read 'Game Over' and the groom had a HUGE ball and chain on his foot. It was amazing! Her prices are def reasonable, but remember, the more tiers or detail you ask for will increase the price. Good luck!

I used Create a Cake in Port Jeff Sta. I got a 2D NY Giants football helmet. It was $100 plus $75 shipping. It came out AWESOME and tasted awesome too!
