GROOM'S CAKE -OPINIONS
I am ordering the groom's cake for the RD. I wanted to get FH a cake in the shape of a boat because he always jokes and says that since he bought the ring, he expects a boat as a wedding gift. Then I saw the 'ball & chain' cake and thought it was very cute. Which do you like better?

You should 'name' the boat as your new last name! That would be cute, and tie it into the wedding!

I would do the boat and hand him a set of keys and say here are the keys to your new boat, and then have them bring out the cake.
