Grooms mother is paralyzed-Any ideas instead of the mother/son dance?

My fiance's mother is paralyzed. Usually at weddings, the son dances with his mother. Does anyone have any suggestions that are creative/and not embarrassing for the mother of the groom? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks so much!

What if he dedicates something to her or the two of you dedicate your bo-k to her...

I would definitely give her flowers with a special song from her son to her.

Instead of a song.. maybe something special given to her. Like a gift.. you could do it for your mother also. It would be honoring her in the same way with a song playing in the background and your fh giving a speech.

What about dedicating a bo-k or something special like a picture of him and her in a frame when he was little.

Thanks for all the suggestions! This really helps because this came up in conversation with my fiance. WE have no idea what we are doing (planning and all). We are newly engaged and only just started planning. So thanks again for responding back and keep em'coming! Good luck all you lucky Brides!

I just saw a picture last night in one of teh old posts that Liza (lipglossjunkie) bumped.

A mom in a wheelchair, adn her som was on one knee in front of her, I think...maybe singing to her along with the music?

I'd cry my eyes out.

I do love the poem idea, as well.
