fh told me one of the biggest things he is worried about the wedding is having to dance.. he really doesnt like to, he means dancing to the fast music throughout the reception.. we are going to have a first dance just by ourselves, but then for the rest of the time, everyones probably going to be telling him he should get up and dance and i know he doesnt like it and i feel bad..
does anyone's fh or did your dh feel this way.. what did he do??

For those who say you won't be dancing anyway- thats not necessarily true. DH and I danced almost the ENTIRE time at our wedding. We said hello to people during ch and during 'down' time. It was our party and we wanted to enjoy it. I would totally recommend doing this - if you spend the whole time separated and talking to guests, you will wonder where the day went. People always comment to me how we both were dancing and how we truly enjoyed our own wedding.

Try to give him a couple of lessons and he will probably be socializing so nobody will notice that he's not dancing much

Re: Grooms who dont dance??
My FH starts fights w/ me at weddings b/c he wont dance. I try to tell him no one cares and to just go out there. He has no rhythum so we are going to take dance lessons. I don't know how to 'really' dance either, but I can go out there and shake what my mama gave me...lol
I told him he HAS TO dance at our wedding, not only first dance, but a few others too. I think he will be fine if I give him a few shots.
Does your FH drink? Have him drink (a little) at the CH so he can get through the first dance. I know thats the only way I'll be ble to get my FH to dance.
