i think a color difference in the vest or tie?
Usually the guys get colored vests and ties, and the groom gets black or white.
It's totally up to you and your FH. Sometimes both wear the same tuxes and vests but use different tie styles (e.g. groomsmen in bow tie, groom in regular necktie). Many times the groomsmen wear black tie and vest, with the groom in white (or ivory) tie and vest. You could also have the groomsmen go without a vest, but groom wearing one.....there are lots of variations.
my d.h wore a tux with a double lapel and a platimum vest and tie, the groomsman wore a regular lapel and a purple vest and tie. you can do whatever you want.
I always thought they were the same with the vest or cumber bund being a different color. But then FH went and bought his own tux. The GM's will have a similar style, but it won't be the same. I guess he has a right to stand out.
My DH had a double lapel and he wore a white vest and tie and the groomsmen had a regular tux with a silver vest and black tie.
it's whatever you want it to be...normal something is different to distruguish who is who in the picture. The parents fathers also can where something different as well
