So I am growing out my eyebrows in order to reshape them and it is awful. I feel so messy.... It's been a week and a half and I feel like I don't want to go anywhere and when I do, I feel the need to explain that I am growing them out in order to reshape them. Just needed to vent!!!

Re: Growing out eyebrows
I had to do the same thing before I went to the person that does them now for me. This was....2 years ago maybe. It ****** definitely, but it was sooo worth it in the end because I am forever indebted to the woman who does them now. She is amazing. You have no idea how properly shaped brows can transform your face until they're done well. She's amazing!

I go to Robin Evans. Her studio is in Soho. She's a miracle worker w/brows. I've been seeing her just about once a month for the past 2 years or so. I see her more than I see my parents sometimes.

Re: Growing out eyebrows
i know how it feels, doesnt it feel like your face weighs like 10 pounds more? but, it's true, it's definitely worth it after you get them done.

Do you wear glasses? Whenever I grow mine out I start wearing my glasses rather than my contacts because it hides those beastly things!

Re: Growing out eyebrows
I'm going throught the SAME EXACT thing right now. I can totally relate to feeling like you have to tell people what you're doing, but you know what - I don't think people notice it nearly as much you do. Well, that's what I keep telling myself anyway!

Re: Growing out eyebrows
Im going through something similar. The last time I had my eyebrows done they took off way too much. I just try to keep them as neat as possible until they come back in the way I want them.

Re: Growing out eyebrows
I know what you mean...the only suggestion I can make is to cut bangs...whenever I grow my eyebrows out, I cut bangs to cover them....the blunt look doesn't fit me, so I sweep them to the sides...it makes me look more polished....HTH

Re: Growing out eyebrows
It took me over one year, now my wedding was in june and they looked good, but it was a rough road with them looking sloppy for a while, one area is still not filled in or perfect yet, it takes a long while

Re: Growing out eyebrows
I grew out my eyebrows, and after a month of looking like the WereWolf's lil sister, I finally got my brows threaded yesterday. I feel like I lost 10lbs!

I am doing the same thing and totally feel for you girl! I started growing them out mid-June and let them go for over amonth..I looked like a freak show! LOL I went to a good eyebrow lady two weeks ago and she did an amazing job. I went to her in the past and got lazy and started tweezing....that, on top of one messed up experience called for really screwy eyebrows. Anyhow, they are looking great and SO worth the month long wait! Hang in there.....they grow rather fast.
