Not to mention I have thick hair do i am dreading this summer... with it so long against my back i am going to be sooo damn hotttt. I already warned FH that my hair will be up in a ponytail a lot this summer and hates when i wear my hair up.

Re: Growing your hair

Im not cutting mine until after the wedding.. Only a trim here and there to keep it healthy....
FH LOVES when my hair is long... I used to have hair down to my butt but I chopped it off a while back LOL.. Put it in a ponytail and cut like 14 inches off....
So now im growing it back out for the wedding...
FH told me if I cut my hair again, there is no wedding LOL

I am feeling this way because I usually have my hair cut in a bob and its so long and FI hates it. He likes it short and keeps complaining. But, I really want to wear it up and back so I don't have to worry about it. Right now its driving me crazy its all stringy

Re: Growing your hair

I'm growing it out. I definitely want to make an appointment for the day after. We're leaving like 2 days after the wedding for our honeymoon so we have plenty of time! FH makes fun of me because I'm like I HATE my hair long but I really want it long for the wedding. He's like that's such a girl thing to do what you hate for one day! Then he said I could always get extensions....I didn't even think of that.

I always had long hair chopped it off about 2 1/2 years ago and loved it and have been in the process of growing it out for a year and a 1/2 and it is driving me crazy

I love my short and sassy hair.

I am tired of hair stylists telling me to grow it our to make it worth the 150$ they want me to pay!

I'm definitely chopping it off. Either before the HM or shortly after. I am so sick of it!!

This is the longest my hair has been in years - its approaching mid-back and I'm sure it will be there by the wedding . . .I want to do a half up hairstyle, so I want it long.

My wedding is Friday - I'd like to get in cut Saturday, we leave for our HM saturday night. If the timing doesn't work, I'll get it cut on the cruise ship Sunday afternoon!!!!!

My hair is also to the middle of my back, and I like it, but it has noooo style! I have a hair appt. on thursday, and I really want to cut a style into it, but I am afraid for the wedding, because I still don't have a definite hairstyle yet! If I am skinny enough, after the wedding I am cutting it, shoulder length or above! I do this sometimes though...cut it off, hate it, and grow it again. But this is def the longest it has ever been!! Everyone tells me it looks nice, and sometimes I think so too, but it needs to have a style, because it is def not doing anything for me!!

You just wrote exactly what I was thinking, except for the skinny part, b/c I'll never be skinny but I have the same problem...I love long hair, my hair just has no style and is overgrown at this point...Getting a trim on saturday.

I just get annoyed that it takes so long to dry. My hair will be longer than it is now, but now by much.

I should shave it all off and invest in a few good wigs!

Re: Growing your hair

I had short hair for my wedding but it was LONG compared to what I started with. I am glad I went a little longer because the curls looked great, but I AM Glad I didn't grow it to my behind. DH met me with short hair and proposed to me with short hair. He specifically asked me not to get extensions because he didn't want to 'marry a stranger.'

Just do whatever is most comfy. You can be GORGEOUS with shorter hair too.
