Do vitamin supplements have any effect on hair?

YES. Chiccine recommends Biotin, which is a vitamin that encourages cell growth in both your hair and nails. 'Biotin can be found at the vitamin store, and you can look for shampoos with it if hair thinning or slow growth is a concern of yours,' says Chiccine.

Thanks for the tip... My hair is long anyway but i want to keep it healthy and keep trimming it before the wedding!

Get the hair, skin, and nails vitamins... they are loaded with biotin and other vitamins that promote hair growth. I have been using them and they def. help! Also, ditch the blowdryer (very hard yes i know), that helps a lot also.

Yea, I mentioned this in another thread. I started to take biotin. My hair grows fast as is and while taking this, my nails are stronger and hair grows even quicker. It works amazingly well.

I take One A Day for Women and that seems to help.

Wow, thanks for the tip! I have been growing my hair out and I'm about half way to where I want to be, but I'm in the middle stage where if I was a couple inches longer or shorter I'd be happier.

Pre- natal vitamins helps big time!!!! My hair and nails grew sooo much when I was pregnant!!!

My har grows so fast it doesn't matter what I do. I just chopped off about 5 inches and I don't know if I even want to grow it long anymore!

lol .. my hair is pretty long but I think I will put extenstion for just the wedding day (like the clip on ones) so that it could look fuller. .. the vitamin thing is true but it takes like 1-2 yrs to notice the difference .. and also believe it or not red meat is the best thing for growing out hair.
