Grr...I'm trying not to be disappointed...

Grr...I'm trying not to be disappointed...

...but it's not working. We cancelled my bachlorette party. One of my bridesmaid's has been working on it for a while now. MOH can't do it because she is unable to attend (nothing bad just can't). Anyway, BM has stuff planned and had a limo rented and all. Turns out, everybody with the exception of like one person isn't coming. Either they have plans or don't want to do what she was planning (which was some type of male review and then a night club). It was mostly my family and FIL's. None of them want to do this and I just found out so, no other plans can be made since the only available weekend to do this was next weekend. I know it isn't the biggest deal in the world but, I am kinda down about it. I was looking forward to going out with the girls. Now my BM is mad at me because I got all upset about it and she doesn't even want to try to make other plans. I can't wait until the honeymoon!!!

That stinks! What is wrong with these people?? People are so concerned about themselves and not others. I am sure it will work itself out. Hugs to you!

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but why don't you go ahead and plan something yourself. Pcik a restaurant you love and a club you'd like to try out and then call some of your closest friends and family. If you really want to make something happen you can. Good luck, let us know if we can help!

i don't want a bachlorette party, and at the rate my MOH is going, i may not even have a shower! i'm not into these things anyway, so it's no big deal to me. if they do do something for me (i stated all i would want is a bridal brunch at my godmother's house) i don't know how they are going to coordinate it. my friends are all over the place and travel a lot - it has the potential to be a logistical nightmare.

i don't want to make things more difficult than they already are for anyone, so worst case scenario we will skip it. i am totally cool with that, i just want people there on my wedding day if possible...

LOL That is so sweet!! Thanks you guys!! I appreciate the hugs. Maybe I should plan it myself. I don't know. It is next week. Ugh...why does everything have to be so aggravating? I feel like every step of the wedding there is a problem....

Honestly if it it is just 2-3 of you do it have a blast and enjoy it..it is better to have the people that want to be there with you than have to pull teeth to get people there who will probably just put a damper on your fun.
