My Matron of Honor finally called me back today after looking at dresses on Monday. She lives in VIrginia- I had given her a choice of 4 Bill Levkoff dresses after my sister (the maid of honor) picked hers. She explains that in 2 of them her boobs were falling out and one was ok- the other dress is at another store and she is looking at it tomorrow. She said that she saw some other similar ones she liked and wanted to know if i would look at them for appoval- Fine, but then she says how the salesperson was feeling so bad for her because pink isnt really her color.... Well i wore a horribly ugly purple dress to her wedding and i dont remember complaining about it. I mean, did she really need to say that?? My sister already ordered her dress and the flower girls already have their pink dresses. Does she really think im going to change my color? UUUUGGGGHHHHH- so annoying !!!! Does anyone else have bms that are making you nuts???

Mine are 1/2 and 1/2. Two want to wait to order b/c they've 'been through weddings enough to know you can'. My MOH is supposedly moving to CA this month or the next And I have one girl who looks completely uncomfortable in everything she tries on!

It must be something in the water in VA, b/c the BM I have who lives there just can't seem to get it together at all!! While the BM who lives in AZ is completely on top of everything!

Sometimes the Bridal party can act so out of hand. I think they think its their wedding and they just need to complain about something.

Don't feel too bad...my 'best friend'/MOH and i haven't spoken in about 2 weeks. She only calls when she's stuck in traffic and is bored, otherwise she watches tv. She has not interested herself in anything i've done in terms of planning. I've booked photographers, dj's, invitations....all of which she knows nothing about. It breaks my heart b/c she just doesn't seem to care at all. I feel terribly dissapointed. I tought of talking to her about it, but then again, why should I have to? it *****. i just wish things were better. i haven't even seen her since late dec. and she lives 10 minutes away. she's become a freakin hermit! i can't deal whatever. i'm just planning things with my FH and my mom....the two most important people in my life. yeah, she complained to me about the color i picked too....she wanted black...no way!

Sometimes I think BM are there to make us nuts! I know they can be aggravating, but think of it this way - if this is the only aggravation you're having, be happy b/c your wedding day will be flawless!

Awe, I love my BM's. They've been nothing short of great. I do not put any expectations on them of what they need to do for me and it's worked out great. Maybe I just have very easy-going friends, but they've been helpful. They got their dresses no problem, and that's all I want. They love the dress. It's simple and a nice color, that they could wear again. Also, I think things are not complicated because I'm not involving any family members. My bridal party is composed of four good friends.

My Moh kinda told me that purple would be a better color because it stands for royality. But I wanted pink and I could tell that she didn't feel comfortable wearing a pink dress so I changed her color to a purplish pink. So I guess I worked it out. I'm still keeping my pink and she can wear here purple.
