are you sure it's not MIL or someone else stirring trouble or mis-interpeting?

I lot of people said that about my first dress..they expected something sexier and less traditional..like they know what I wanted for my day :roll eyes:

1. Like everyone said, you looked great. Your dress was like opposite of boring it was hot and different. 2. That's such a miserable thing for her to comment. Even if the dress is not her taste. Why isn't she just happy for you and the occasion? 3. Yeah, I don't know why your MIL told you that, she shouldn't have.

First of all, you looked gorgeous in your dress!! not only was it beautiful (i tried it on too, so saw it in person) but it fit you perfectly!!

Secondly, why the F would MIL say that? rediculous. what did she think would be gained for repeating such a rude and awful comment. some people just don't have common sense!

third, the gril is probably jealous, so just know you looked amazing and forget about it and her.
