I thought that quote was written in GREEN for how jealous your MIL and her friend and the inlaw is....
It was classic and GORGEOUS. You looked HOT in your dress! That dress is HOT and it was timeless.

Wow, I'm sorry but your MIL def shouldn't have even said anything. And your dress was GORGEOUS. Not many people could pull it off. It def isn't plain at all. It's personally one of my favorites.
