Sometimes I wish I could find something better....I'm so tired of picking up after other peoples' careless mistakes. It's to the point where all the customers call for me because they know I'll take care of whatever their problem is.....GRRRRRRR

I HATE MY JOB TOO BUT JUST THINK OF HOW IT WOULD BE IF YOU DIDNT HAVE THE INTERNET. I JUST GOT IT ON MY COMPUTER ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 2 AND HALF YEARS. MY JOB IS ALMOST OK TO DEAL WITH NOW

I am not happy with mine either. Hopefully I will look for a new one when I get back from my Honeymoon in a few weeks. For now I have to grin and bear it.

I know how you feel girls. I have been looking since we got back from the honeymoon in April. I've been on dozens of interviews and have been called back for 2nd and 3rd rouinds of intervirews but nothing so far. Just keep your eyes and ears open and hopefully you'll find something.

I was laid off in June and started temping in August. The company that I was temping at offered me a full-time position and I took it...but it's not really a 'career move' for me. It's just that I wanted stability (and insurance!) before the wedding and I guess I'll see what happens once we're married and I have to commute to the city. Not looking forward to the commute.
It is really hard to find a job these days and can be frustrating. The market has to get better soon, right????

Count me in, I hate my job and have been looking since getting back from my HM. DH and I are moving to Connecticut, and so I am looking there, and the job market is even worse than in New York! I am keeping my fingers crossed that I find something and dont end up having to temp, since that has no insurance.

Me tooo....I hate my job. I have been looking to get out of here for over a year...I have covered hotjobs, monster and all the other job sites...I have gotten a few calls for jobs that I have applied to but nothing has really kicked in yet...Im waiting on one job to call me back and another job that I applied too....Both jobs I would love to have. I am also waiting for a call from the post office. I took the test back in july and have been put on the list.....So I just have to wait...

i am in with you guys. i feel like this is a horrible time to try and change careers, or even find something better. i took my current job in a moment of desperation and now i am crying because it stinks so badly. argh...it is not easy!

Perfect post! I'm sorry but am going to vent right now.
I wouldn't hate my job so much if they were just fair. I asked for a raise about a month ago and was told - Yes you deserve it. I will talk to the big boss. So great.... Now it's Yes you deserve it but you have to wait until January. What kind of bull is that? I'm sorry I've been working here for almost 4 yrs with no raise. Now I should wait for January? Why? They won't tell me what the raise is going to be.... I want to friggin quit on them right now. This is bull...but who is it hurting really???

I also hate my job. I am now planning on going back to school and changing my career. I've never had a job where several times a day I feel like crying. Plus the day drags so badly. Hopefully I can find something new soon.
